Objectives Of DECC

1. To help identify the Tourists Attraction Sites, preserve them, promote them and document them.

2. To help preserve and promote the culture and tradition of Northern Region through documentation, performance and film industry.

3. To exchange cultural programmes with organizations and individuals in Ghana and at the international level.

4. To help identify the natural resources in the Northern Region, document them and promote that sector.

5. To promote film and drama industry in the Northern Ghana, and

6. To participate in other developmental activities useful to Northern Ghana

Vision Of DECC

The vision of DECC is to plant knowledge and assistance in urban and rural people to enable them recognise the vast amount of human and natural resources available in their various communities and use these human and natural resources wisely in the development of their communities and eventually become social and economic independence.

Mission Of DECC

To find ways and means to enhance the socio economic status of people in the Northern Region through the use of available human and natural resources.
